On Friday, July 1st, 2022, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak celebrated the Holy Liturgy on the occasion of the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul and all the Apostles, in the presence of V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun, V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Shabo, V. Rev. Fr. Maroutha Hanna, V. Rev. Fr. Andrew Bahhi , V. Rev. Fr. Augeen Alkhouri Nimat, and Rev. Fr. Anton Sabha.
He first thanked and welcomed all those who came from near and far to attend the annual Suryoyo Family Retreat.
In his sermon he spoke to the faithful about St. Peter and St. Paul and how we should serve like them. His Eminence mentioned that although all of us may have different characters, behaviors, personalities, and opinions, our goal in life should be one and the same which is serving our Lord and His church.
He concluded by congratulating those who carry the names of Peter and Paul.
