On Wednesday evening, December 4, 2024, His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar for the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of the Eastern United States, participated in the Divine Liturgy presided by H. E. Archbishop Mor Titus Yaldo. In the presence of H. E. Archbishop Mor Silvanus Ayoub, alongside the Coptic Church’s esteemed representatives, His Grace Bishop David and His Grace Bishop Gabriel.
The liturgy commemorated the 40th-day memorial for the late His Beatitude Catholicos Mor Baselios Thomas I, Catholicos of India. At the conclusion of the service, several heartfelt eulogies were delivered honoring the life and ministry of the departed, emphasizing his loyalty to the Holy throne of Antioch, his service, devotion, and contributions to the Holy Church.
