On Sunday, December 1st, 2024, the Mor Gabriel Youth hosted a Christmas Fair at Mor Gabriel Church in Haworth, New Jersey. His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak came to the fair to join in the celebration.
At the fair, there was a special coat drive. Families donated coats to help people who need them, showing kindness, warmth, comfort and care for others.
One of the highlights was a Live Nativity Scene, the Jr. Youth of Mor Gabriel acted out the story of the birth of Jesus Christ with real animals, and beautiful Syriac, Arabic, and English Christmas hymns and songs played in the background.
There were also many games for the kids to play, and many different foods to enjoy.
His Eminence prayed the Abun D’Bashmayo and blessed the fair, bringing peace and joy to everyone, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from now. He also joined in the fun, playing games and activities with the children.
It was an evening filled with love, laughter, and the true spirit of Christmas!
