On the afternoon of Thursday, January 2, 2025, His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, in the presence of Mor Dionysius John Kawak, received Their Graces Anba David, Bishop of New York and New England, and Anba Gabriel, General Bishop of the State of New Jersey along with a group of clergy from their dioceses.
During the visit, greetings were exchanged on the occasion of the Glorious Nativity and the Blessed New Year. Everyone listened to a detailed explanation of the current situation in Syria, and the gathering concluded with prayers for peace in the whole world, especially in Syria.
