Under the Auspices of His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, on Saturday, May 31, 2025, the second annual Neurodiversity walkathon took place on the Mor Aphrem Center grounds. With the intention to raise support and awareness for our neurodivergent Sunday School students. Over 150 parishioners from our local churches in New Jersey joined together to walk for the cause. The event was sponsored by the Archdiocese Educational Programs committee, and kicked off with a prayer from V. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chamoun and a few words from St. Mark’s and Virgin Mary Sunday School Principals Ramona Malki and John Samuel, as well as parents of these wonderful children. It was a beautiful morning filled with community, music, and walking! All are invited to join next year!
